NYC restaurants

Has anybody been lately? Going in a few weeks for a friday and saturday, but can't decide between Per Se(twice the price of the other choices), Del Posto, Union Square Cafe or Veritas. I've been to the French Laundry in Napa and it was by far the best culinary experience of my life.

BTW, already booked Peter Lugers for the saturday!

Everytime I'm in NYC, I make it a point to visit KUTA (Satay House & Wine Bar).. Small, intimate & elegant restaurant with superb Indonesian satays - http://www.kutahouse.com

Re: NYC restaurants

Some of my fav are:

Sojourn on the upper east side. Eclectic menu, great wine and atmosphere.

Angelika Kitchen in the east village: great organic locally grown seasonal cooking. Community table is fun. Bring your own booze too.

Molley's on 23rd and 3rd: the oldest, best irish pub and hamburger around. Saw dust on the floor.

Big nick's burger joint on the upper west side. A close second when it comes to burgers. Tiny old school dinner. The sumo burger is just freaky.

Jules bistro on St marks. Great live jazz.
